01 Who We Are
Kanz is a subscription-based platform for financial education and market analysis. The platform is hosted on Circle.so and uses Stripe for payment processing.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, who we share it with, and what your rights are.
02 What Data We Collect

03 Legal Basis for Processing
We process your personal data in compliance with data protection laws applicable in your country, including: Saudi PDPL, UAE Federal Law 45/2021, Egypt Law 151/2020, Bahrain Law 30/2018, Qatar Law 13/2016, CCPA/CPRA (California), PIPEDA (Canada), EU/UK GDPR, and Australian Privacy Act.
Where local law provides greater protection than described here, local law prevails. We process your data based on:
- Contractual necessity — account creation, subscription management, payment processing, service delivery.
- Your consent — onboarding survey (voluntary), marketing messages, analytics cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legitimate interest — platform security, fraud prevention, service improvement, engagement analytics.
- Legal obligation — maintaining financial records, tax compliance, responding to lawful government requests.
04 How We Use Your Data
- Delivering your subscription services, including course access, market analysis, and community access.
- Personalizing your experience using survey responses and behavioral data.
- Processing billing, upgrades, discounts, refunds, and failed payment recovery via Stripe.
- Sending transactional messages (welcome, billing confirmations), service messages (weekly summaries), and marketing communications (with your consent).
- Improving the platform through aggregated usage data analysis.
- Security monitoring for unauthorized access and suspicious activity.
- Legal and regulatory compliance, including maintaining financial records as required by law.

06 Data Storage, Security & Retention
Where your data is stored
Your data is stored on Circle.so infrastructure (cloud servers in the United States) and Stripe infrastructure. By using Kanz, you consent to your data being transferred to these servers.
How we protect it
Team access is role-based. No team member sees full payment card data. We use strong passwords and two-factor authentication on all admin accounts. Encryption in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.

07 Your Rights
Under applicable data protection laws, you have the following rights. If your local law grants additional rights beyond those listed, they apply as well:
- Right of access — request a copy of all personal data we hold about you.
- Right of rectification — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Right of erasure — request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Right to withdraw consent — at any time for consent-based processing. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of prior processing.
- Right to data portability — receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format (CSV/JSON).
- Right to object — to processing based on legitimate interest.
- Right to restrict processing — limit how your data is processed in certain circumstances.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA)
Right to know what categories of personal information we collect, right to opt out of "selling" data (Kanz does not sell your data), right to non-discrimination, and right to limit use of sensitive information.
EU / UK residents (GDPR)
Right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe your data is being processed unlawfully.
Australian residents
Right of access and correction, and right to complain to the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).
08 Cookies & Tracking Technologies
Kanz (via Circle.so) uses three categories of cookies:

Circle.so may also use tracking pixels in emails and on the platform to track open rates and click-through rates.
09 International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States (where Circle.so's primary infrastructure is located). This transfer is necessary to provide our services.
We ensure any international transfer is protected by appropriate safeguards, including data processing agreements with Circle.so and Stripe that incorporate standard contractual clauses and industry-standard security measures.
10 Children's Privacy
Kanz is designed for adults only. Our platform, content, and services relate to financial markets, trading, and investment education — topics that are not appropriate for children.
11 Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make material changes:
- We update the "Last updated" date at the top of this policy.
- We notify you by email or a prominent notice on the platform at least 14 days in advance.
- For significant changes affecting how we process your data, we may request your renewed consent.
Continued use of Kanz after the effective date of any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
